The restaurant was renovated and expanded in 1991 to accommodate over 250 seats. The glass enclosed porch overlooking the Ogeechee River is the most popular place to dine for our adult customers. Recently added, with 50 more seats, this area allows spectacular views of the evening sunsets and an occasional manatee or alligator. Most all of the seating available offers these spectacular views. As a result of our customers continued loyalty a new larger kitchen has also been added, leaving additional dining space in our lounge. In October 1993 Love's Seafood was selected by Paramount Pictures for one of the many filming locations of the academy award winning movie "Forrest Gump" starring Tom Hanks.
